Program description:
Session 1: 02.08-11.08.2020 (9 days, Sunday off) - Methodology of Teaching for the 1st – 2nd ballet grades
Session 2: 12.08-21.08.2020 (9 days, Sunday off) - Methodology of Teaching for the 3rd ballet grade.
Classes will be held from Monday to Saturday

Schedule of daily activities:
·        3-4.5 hours– Visual practice. Observation of professional classes of Vaganova Academy Summer Intensive by RMB.
·        2 hours of Vaganova Method lecture
·        1 hour of a Practical class. During the Practical classes, every teacher should present a demo class based on Vaganova methodology using new knowledge. You will be observed and will receive a detailed feedback.

Also, the program includes:
·        1-hour Round table seminar at the end of the course. Participants will meet with various teachers of Russian Masters Ballet Camp (Istanbul) and will be able to ask question and to exchange opinions.
·        Translation of the classes on English and Turkish languages
·        Certificate stating the course participation.

The course is designed for a small group of participants (min.5-max.10 students)

Program description:
Session 1: 02.08-11.08.2020 (9 days, Sunday off) - Methodology of Teaching for the 1st – 2nd ballet grades
Session 2: 12.08-21.08.2020 (9 days, Sunday off) - Methodology of Teaching for the 3rd ballet grade.
Classes will be held from Monday to Saturday

Schedule of daily activities:
·        3-4.5 hours– Visual practice. Observation of professional classes of Vaganova Academy Summer Intensive by RMB.
·        2 hours of Vaganova Method lecture
·        1 hour of a Practical class. During the Practical classes, every teacher should present a demo class based on Vaganova methodology using new knowledge. You will be observed and will receive a detailed feedback.

Also, the program includes:
·        1-hour Round table seminar at the end of the course. Participants will meet with various teachers of Russian Masters Ballet Camp (Istanbul) and will be able to ask question and to exchange opinions.
·        Translation of the classes on English and Turkish languages
·        Certificate stating the course participation.

The Program Description

People trained in this course in the future will be able to be guided by this methodology when conducting classes.

Program description:
Session 1: 02.08-11.08.2020 (9 days, Sunday off) - Methodology of Teaching for the 1st – 2nd ballet grades
Session 2: 12.08-21.08.2020 (9 days, Sunday off) - Methodology of Teaching for the 3rd ballet grade.
Classes will be held from Monday to Saturday

Schedule of daily activities:
·        3-4.5 hours– Visual practice. Observation of professional classes of Vaganova Academy Summer Intensive by RMB.
·        2 hours of Vaganova Method lecture
·        1 hour of a Practical class. During the Practical classes, every teacher should present a demo class based on Vaganova methodology using new knowledge. You will be observed and will receive a detailed feedback.

Also, the program includes:
·        1-hour Round table seminar at the end of the course. Participants will meet with various teachers of Russian Masters Ballet Camp (Istanbul) and will be able to ask question and to exchange opinions.
·        Translation of the classes on English and Turkish languages
·        Certificate stating the course participation.

The course is designed for a small group of participants (min.5-max.10 students)

Due to the unstable situation in the world caused by Covid-19, Russian Masters Ballet would like to offer this year flexible booking/cancelation rules in cases your participation or arrival to the course is impossible because of the governments´ travel restrictions.

Payments and Booking:
For quality reasons, places on the courses are strictly limited, to guarantee your place prepayment for the course is required. You will be asked for second payment only in case the course is confirmed. So, 45 days before the course commence, we will review the health/political/travel situation in the world and if the course is confirmed you will be asked to make the second payment. We will never charge for courses that cannot be carried out.

Cancelation or Changes:
In case the camp can´t be organized or there are restrictions in your country or in the country of destination you will be able to choose one of the following options:
1. Choose another live camp destination (if possible).
2. Take part at Vaganova Academy Online Intensive.
3. Refund your prepayment.
Russian Masters Ballet reserves the right to apply some changes in the course’s program or schedule if the situation demands (for example, reduction of students per group or quantity of visitors at the final Gala).

In the late 90's he entered the Academy of Russian Ballet named after A.Ya.Vaganova at the Pedagogical Faculty (class of V.V. Rumyantseva). Throughout the training he taught in classes and rehearsed parts for concerts.

After graduating from the Academy he worked as a choreographer at the SABT Theatre and the Academy of the theatre in South Africa. Upon his return to Russia, he began teaching at the ARB in the Department of Classical and Duet-Classical Dance.

Alexey se graduó en la Escuela Estatal Coreográfica de Perm en 1985 (clase de V.N. Tolstukhin).
A continuación trabajó en el Teatro de Ópera y Ballet de Gorky en el que bailó todo el repertorio solista del teatro.
Fue invitado a Leningrado, a la Fundación Internacional de Leonid Yakobson, el Maly Ballet del Teatro Mariinsky. Allí Alexey interpretó papeles principales de ballets clásicos y repertorio solista de los conciertos de la compañía dirigida por O.M. Vinogradov.

Formada por Ludmila Safronova, una de las últimas alumnas de Agrippina Vaganova, Anna Podlesnaya trabajó con las legendarias maestras Alla Shelest, Alla Osipenko, Lyudmila Kunakova y Ninel Petrova.

Anna representa la escuela de San Petersburgo en su estado más puro, llegando incluso a recibir el epíteto de “la nieta de Vaganova”. Tras una aclamada carrera como Bailarina Principal, se convirtió en una destacada maestra.

Su excelencia como docente se muestra en los detalles tales como la correcta posición de pies y manos. Combina el gusto por los detalles con una gran simpatía y sensibilidad para trabajar con los niños. En la actualidad, imparte clases de niveles elementales e intermedios en San Petersburgo.

Svetlana Efimova was born in Leningrad in 1966. She graduated from the Vaganova Academy (Professor A. I. Trofimova, 1984).
During 1990 - 1992 she was a soloist of the theatre "Russky Ballet" in St. Petersburg. Then for a year she developed her career as a ballet dancer at the Symphony State Capella of St. Petersburg under the leadership of Georgy Aleksidze. Until 1998 Svetlana danced in the Maliy Ballet of the Mariinsky Theatre and then until 2008 she worked at the Ballet Theatre of Konstantin Tachkin in St. Petersburg.

The repertoire of Svetlana includes among others: ballet "Paquita" (Grand Pas, variation), "Les Sylphides" (Eleventh Waltz), "Fairy Doll" (Pas de trois), "Giselle" (Vilisa, friends), "The Nutcracker" (Waltz of the snowflakes, pink Waltz), "Swan lake" (Pas de trois, the Hungarian dance, little swans), "Cantina Girl" (Pas de six). As a performer she worked with choreographers: Oleg Vinogradov, Giorgy Aleksidse, Dmitry Bryantsev.

She graduated from the Faculty of Education of the Vaganova Ballet Academy (2010). Since 2008 Svetlana has been a teacher and tutor of the School of Classical Ballet where she has acquired an extensive pedagogical practice as well as vast experience in teaching methods. Durante un año desarrolló su carrera como bailarina del ballet de la Capella Sinfónica Estatal de San Petersburgo bajo la dirección de Georgy Aleksidse. Hasta el año 1998 fue bailarina del Maliy Ballet del Teatro Mariinsky y después hasta el año 2008 trabajó en el Teatro de Ballet de Konstantin Tachkin de San Petersburgo. Ha estado trabajando desde esa fecha con la compañía del ballet Mariinsky donde llegó a bailar partes solistas. Así mismo, se graduó como profesora de la Academia Vaganova y desde hace cuatro años imparte clases en esta prestigiosa escuela a los niveles Intermedios. Ha interpretado, entre otros roles solistas, la Sílfide en el ballet La Sylphide de August Bournonville, Aurora y la princesa Florine en La bella durmiente de Marius Petipa, y piezas más neoclásicas como The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude de William Forsythe. El periódico ruso Rossiiskaya Gazeta alaba su versatilidad hablando de la capacidad de “sus pies de afrontar cualquier tempo, emoción y estilo”. En nuestros cursos la maestra Ivanova impartirá clase de ballet a los niveles intermedios. Es un honor y una suerte para nosotros y para los alumnos del Russian Masters poder contar con una profesora de tan alto talento y profesionalidad.
